On March 11-12, members of the Lancaster University team, Oliver Wild and Ye Wang, attended the UK Hydrogen Program event in Cambridge, an important gathering organised by the Atmospheric Chemistry Special Interest Group of the Royal Meteorological Society to mark the conclusion of the UK Hydrogen Environmental Impacts Programme, funded by NERC and the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange, offering insights from different hydrogen research projects and generating ideas that will fuel future HYDRA activities. The Lancaster team engaged in discussions with key stakeholders to strengthen collaborations.

A key highlight was the meeting with Maria Sand and other members of the HYWAY sister project (David Stevenson and William Collins), where discussions focused on aligning modelling studies and fostering future synergies between the two projects. Strengthening these connections will be instrumental in maximizing the impact of both initiatives.
